The World Association of Manufacturers of Bottles and Teats presently has members from all across Europe and Asia, all representing the world’s leading baby-care brands.
Policy, contribution fees and funds for specific projects are set at an annual General Assembly meeting of the association members.
As the governing and administrative body, the Executive Committee also meets once a year to translate policy into action.
Meetings and conference calls are regularly held and open to all members. The association is run on a collegial basis and aims at achieving a consensus that advances the interests of the industry as a whole, and not of any particular member.
Although the World Association of Manufacturers of Bottles and Teats provides a forum to tackle issues pertaining to the bottles and teats industry, its members are prohibited from discussing any competition issues amongst companies. In accordance with the association’s statutes, such discussions are specifically excluded from the scope of the association’s activities and prohibited by law
